Land Surveyor; Lsit

Engineering Associates (EA) is a growing municipal engineering firm with eight offices in Wyoming. EA is looking for a dynamic, experienced, service-oriented Land Surveyor for our Laramie, Saratoga, and Sheridan offices.

Laramie, Saratoga, Sheridan, Sundance, Thermopolis

The ideal candidate will exhibit excellent communication skills and be self-motivated. Previous experience with project management, business development, and engaging clients is valued.

LSIT meeting Wyoming’s education requirements that can obtain PLS registration in Wyoming within two years.

Experience and proficiency in boundary and right-of-way surveys, topographic surveys, site plan surveys, and construction staking; office experience conducting research, analyzing property boundaries, preparing, and reviewing land descriptions and exhibits/plats.

Experience managing field crews is a plus, as is proficiency with AutoCAD, Trimble Business Center, GPS, and Robotic Total Station survey equipment.

Some travel is necessary for this position, and a valid driver’s license is required.

Compensation depends on experience and qualifications. The typical range is $58,000 to $70,000.

This position may be suitable for remote or hybrid work based on the nature of the job duties and employee readiness for telework. Determinations are at management discretion.
