Job Summary
Forest River, Inc., the nation’s largest manufacturer of recreational vehicles, cargo trailers, transit buses and boats, is looking for an Office Assistant to station at Plant #47 in Sheridan, Oregon. The position offers a pay rate up to $21.00 hourly, Monday–Friday day shift.
This role is based in the front office and will carry out a variety of administrative tasks associated with office work. The individual will provide administrative support while maintaining an organized front office, and will be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Strong administrative and organizational skills, high accuracy and strict confidentiality are required.
The work environment is fast‑paced with frequent changes and adjusting timelines. Effective multi‑tasking and adaptability are necessary to be successful. Prior experience in Human Resources is a plus but not required. Most work is completed indoors in a temperature‑controlled environment; some tasks may be carried out on the production floor and occasionally outdoors.
Some local travel is occasionally required; therefore the candidate must maintain a current driver’s license and automobile insurance.
