You’ll Do

As the Department Manager, you’ll be a vital leader on the sales floor, overseeing daily interactions and ensuring that every engagement between employees and customers embodies the exceptional standards of the Simons experience. You’ll be the first stop for associates looking for advice and training to deliver fantastic customer service!

  • Lead & Inspire: Lead and coach associates, empowering them to enhance their service one customer at a time.
  • Drive the Simons

    Experience:

    Set the bar high and show your team what success looks like in the Toronto market.
  • Curate the Vision: Play the lead role in curating a vibrant and inviting sales floor that showcases our exceptional merchandise.
  • Optimize Performance: Collaborate with Area Directors to assess departmental performance and develop strategies to enhance merchandising effectiveness.
What We’re Looking For

We seek a natural leader who can manage the excitement of a dynamic retail environment while overseeing everyday operations.

  • Experience in Retail Management: 5-7 years in a fast-paced retail environment, managing people and processes;
    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is a strength; bilingualism is an asset.
  • Fashion Expert: Deep understanding of current fashion trends, brands, fabrics, and styles; guiding customers and staff.
  • Customer Service Passion: Ability to make diverse customers feel part of the Simons family.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Adaptable, open communication with employees and fellow management.
  • Technologically Advanced: Confidence with new technology and digital programs.
