Salary: $35.00 to $38.00 per hour (40 hours per week, negotiable)

Employment type: Permanent, Full time

Flexible hours and overtime available.

Experience required: 5+ years as a welder in custom fabrication, working with steel, iron, and heavy metals. The role includes welding, cutting, brazing, soldering, and fabricating metal parts.

French (required)

• Interpret welding process specifications.
• Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes.
• Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
• Fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal.
• Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc/air), hoisting and lifting equipment.
• Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts.
• Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.

• Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience.
• 5 years or more of welding experience.
• Proficiency with arc welding machines, gas welding machines, and soldering machines.
• Strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to stand for extended periods.
• Efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, organized, team player, punctual, hardworking, resourceful.
