Local Counter Fraud Technician

Role Overview

You will support the Local Counter Fraud Specialist (LCFS) in providing professional advice, skills and expertise to tackle fraud, bribery, and corruption across active work streams.

• Support LCFS in developing counter fraud work plans, quarterly and annual reports, fraud risk assessments, and CFFSR.
• Assist in day‑to‑day work in the Trust and client organisations to tackle fraud, bribery, and corruption following NHS Counter Fraud Authority guidance.
• Enter data into fraud case management system, liaise with stakeholders, handle and record evidence, and develop an anti‑fraud culture.
• Ensure duties comply with the professional and ethical framework of NHS Counter Fraud Authority and data protection legislation.

• Travel and periodic away‑from‑home periods across client groups.
• Standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check (Trust covers the cost).
• Current Skilled worker sponsorship candidates are ineligible.
