Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a confident and adaptable KS1 Teacher for a welcoming primary school in Sherborne. This role involves teaching a mixed Year 1/2 class and is set to begin after the Easter break, continuing on an ongoing basis.

This class would benefit from a teacher who is strong with behaviour management, able to set clear expectations and routines, while also bringing a calm, patient and nurturing approach to the classroom.

The Role:

Teaching a mixed Year 1/2 class
4 days per week:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday
Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
Maintaining positive behaviour strategies and creating a supportive learning environment
Working collaboratively with support staff and the wider school team

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Have experience teaching Key Stage 1
Be confident managing behaviour while maintaining a calm and supportive classroom presence
Be adaptable and proactive in supporting pupils with varying needs
Hold QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification)
Be passionate about helping young learners thrive

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
