HGV Class 1 Driver - Nights

HGV Class 1 Driver Night Shift Location Shepton Mallet BA4 Salary - £17.50 per hour Shift pattern/days worked Monday - Friday, 7pm start time We're looking for qualified and experienced HGV class 1 drivers for regular work on an ongoing Monday to Friday basis, completing night shifts. The role is HGV 1 night trunking role colleting palletised goods for delivery the next day.

Key tasks:
Trunk run on behalf on the Pallet Ex Safely operate a truck to transport goods and materials to designated locations Supervise the loading of palletised goods Plan route making sure pallets are strapped down correctly Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries Requirements:
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) 2 years minimum experience Proven experience as a truck driver with multi drop experience of palletised goods Ability to operate and maintain various types of trucks and trailers Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines Strong communication and customer service skills You will need to complete a 2 hour induction and assessment before starting.
