About the Role

This role serves as a key pillar of the Infrastructure team, responsible for designing, building, and safeguarding the cloud, virtualization, and network platforms that power mission‑critical warehouse environments. Operating at the intersection of VMware, AWS, and enterprise networking
, the position acts as the primary defense for production systems while driving core business goals of operational excellence and 24/7 continuity. By championing Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD practices, this role automates and modernizes technical operations to enhance reliability and security. Through close partnerships across engineering, security, and business teams, the position plays a vital part in evolving incident response and NOC/SOC capabilities, ensuring the company’s technological foundation remains a resilient engine for continuous growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and support cloud and on‑prem infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
  • Drive CI/CD culture by creating and improving engineering and automation tools
  • Manage and support Linux and Windows systems in AWS and virtualized VMware environments
  • Update, patch, and maintain Linux servers during scheduled maintenance windows
  • Implement, maintain, and support scalable, highly available network architectures (LAN/WAN/WLAN)
  • Install, configure, administer, and test servers, operating systems, routers, switches, cabling, and related infrastructure
  • Evolve monitoring, alerting, incident response, and on‑call processes
  • Expand disaster recovery and business continuity capabilities, leveraging cloud and virtualization platforms
  • Respond to emergency infrastructure and network issues and participate in on‑call rotations
  • Assist with developing and implementing network security procedures and safeguards
  • Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, installations, upgrades, and topology
  • Coordinate the installation of new data services and infrastructure projects, delivering on time with regular status reporting
  • Mentor peers and contribute to technical standards and best practices
About you

You will be a key contributor to our Infrastructure team, responsible for designing, building, implementing, and supporting highly available cloud, virtualization, and network platforms that power large‑scale, mission‑critical environments. You will operate at the intersection of VMware virtualization, AWS cloud infrastructure, and enterprise networking, serving as a first line of defense for production systems while continuously improving automation, reliability, and security in a warehouse environment.

In this role, you will partner closely with engineers, security teams, and business stakeholders to scale automation tools and best practices, evolve monitoring and incident response, and enhance a 24/7 on‑call NOC/SOC operation.

  • Experience managing On‑prem instances in a datacenter‑like environment
  • Self‑driven to be able to work on complex tasks with little oversight
  • Experience with ticketing systems
  • Strong knowledge of Server design, configuration, installation, testing, and maintenance
  • Being able to use everyday automation tools
  • Troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve infrastructure and network issues
  • Experience working in cross‑functional, agile environments
  • Experience with highly available network topologies
  • Ability to interpret and apply complex technical documentation
  • Proven track record of improving incident response and on‑call operations
  • Strategic problem‑solving skills and the ability to partner with business stakeholders
Experience and Background Needed Education
  • High school Diploma or above
