As the Food and Beverage Supervisor, you will be responsible for assisting the Food and Beverage management team in directing and coordinating food service at Little Creek Casino Resort. You will serve as Manager on Duty as needed, provide clerical and administrative support, and ensure that our guests receive a high-quality experience when dining at our restaurants, boardwalk outlets and bars.
You will be a key player in ensuring that we continue to provide excellent customer service and host an outstanding food and beverage operation. - Assist Food & Beverage Management in implementing established procedures for the Food & Beverage Department.
- Administer the Food & Beverage policies and procedures in all food and beverage outlets.
- Train and evaluate food and beverage personnel.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of all Food & Beverage employees engaged in providing meals and/or beverages to patrons and employees.
- Compile, adjust and post personnel shift schedules weekly and as needed.
- Ensure accurate record keeping.
- Prepare, review, and analyze reports, as assigned by Food and Beverage Management.
- Ability to be a working supervisor to perform as Food and Beverage Server, bartender, and/or Cashier as needed.
- Assist with interviews and hiring for positions within the food and Beverage Department, as directed by venue managers.
- Promote positive customer relations and resolve complaints made by patrons and/or employees regarding food and/or service.
- Assist with monthly food, liquor, beer and wine inventory, creating spreadsheets to track.
- Assist with evaluating performance of all front of the house employees.
- Use, train and monitor Agilysys POS cash system.
- Attend all mandatory meetings and training.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- As necessary, while acting as Supervisor.
- This includes scheduling duties and written corrective actions if needed.
- Acts in the place of the manager when they are not present.
- Relays all pertinent information to the Food and Beverage management team daily.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- AA Degree
- Three years' experience in hospitality / food service
- OR 5 years of progressively responsible F&B experience
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Squaxin Island Gaming Commission.
- Washington State Food Worker Card
- Class 12 Mixologist Permit
