Tacoma Power is excited to announce we are accepting applications for 2 vacancies for Seasonal Grounds Workers (under the Laborer classification) at the Cushman Project located near Hoodsport, WA (3 miles south)! • Lawn mowing and weed cutting
• Light janitorial duties
• Participation in painting projects to enhance project appearance
• Garbage hauling and overall site cleanliness
• Assisting with general grounds maintenance tasks as needed

• Some experience in performing heavy manual work; completion of eighth grade or equivalent
• Some customer service experience preferred
• Valid Washington State Driver’s License required at time of appointment and maintenance thereafter
• Appointment subject to background check, pre‑employment medical exam and drug screening

This temporary position offers a flexible summer assignment. Start dates for the current openings are 3/24 and 4/21, though dates are flexible. The average duration is approximately 6 months with possible extension. Starting pay is $20.51 per hour.
