We're seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Inside Sales professional to join our team in our Shelton, CT office, specifically selling our Discount School Supply brand serving infant through early childhood.
As an Inside Sales Representative, you’ll play a crucial role in prospecting, building relationships, and growing revenue with both new and existing customers. If you’re passionate about education, sales, and making a real impact, this is your chance to shine!
What You’ll Do
- Identify and win new business opportunities through proactive outreach and strategic sales efforts focused on early education, multi-segment customers
- Develop strong, lasting relationships with customers and create tailored growth strategies for existing accounts
- Make outbound calls and connect with key decision-makers in the early childhood education space
- Surpass sales targets by consistently exceeding daily, weekly, quarterly and yearly activity benchmarks
- Champion our innovative products and solutions, helping educators and childcare providers bring learning to life
What You Bring
- 2+ years of proven sales success in Early Childhood Education (required)
- 3+ years of Inside Sales experience with a track record of hitting and exceeding goals (required)
- A passion for business development, from uncovering leads to closing deals
- A high-energy, self-motivated, and goal-oriented mindset—you thrive in a fast-paced environment!
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills—you know how to connect and engage with customers
- A team-player attitude—you enjoy collaborating and celebrating wins together
- Teaching experience a plus
