Position SummaryThe facility is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Rheumatologist to join a dedicated and collaborative specialty care team in Shelton, CT.
This full-time, permanent opportunity offers a collegial practice environment with a strong emphasis on patient-centered care, multidisciplinary collaboration, and work-life balance. Physicians will provide diagnostic evaluations, ongoing management, and treatment of autoimmune and musculoskeletal diseases.

Essential Position Responsibilities- Diagnose and manage a wide range of rheumatologic conditions including rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, gout, vasculitis, and other autoimmune disorders.
- Perform joint aspirations, injections, and related procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with primary care providers and other specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Develop individualized treatment plans, including pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
- Participate in team meetings, peer reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Educate patients on disease management, preventive strategies, and lifestyle modifications.
- Education:
MD or DO degree from an accredited institution. - Licensure & Certification:
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Rheumatology; eligible for Connecticut medical licensure. - Experience:
Previous clinical experience preferred, but new graduates and fellows are welcome to apply.
