Hospitalist
Location: Shelton, Connecticut
Employment Type: Full-Time | Day Shift
- Full-time daytime hospitalist opportunity
- 7-on/7-off block schedule, 12-hour shifts

- Manage and coordinate care for hospitalized adult patients
- Admit, round on, and discharge patients in collaboration with specialists and nursing staff
- Respond to rapid responses and collaborate with the emergency department
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation through the hospital’s EMR system
- Participate in quality initiatives and hospital committees if desired
- MD/DO degree
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Active Connecticut medical license (or ability to obtain)
- ACLS certification preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and clinical decision-making skills
- Previous experience as a hospitalist preferred but not required
- Vibrant suburban community located between New Haven and Bridgeport
- Close proximity to NYC (just under 2 hours)
