Specific

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist experienced dentists chairside, using four-handed dentistry
  • Preparation of treatment rooms, ensuring instruments and equipment are sterile
  • Breakdown of treatment rooms, ensuring all instruments are returned for sterilization promptly
  • Daily morning meeting and team schedule review, anticipating the doctor's needs in advance
  • Set up trays as indicated by the day’s charts and doctor's anticipated needs
  • Greet, seat, and screen patients - communicating patient concerns effectively to the doctor
  • Take alginates, pour and trim models or scan utilizing the iTero scanner
  • Take diagnostic x-rays (PA, Bitewing, Panoramic, 3D/CBCT) as needed
  • Keep operatory fully stocked
Requirements
  • Superior customer service skills, with the ability to infuse personality, empathy, and enthusiasm into each patient contact
  • Dental assisting experience
  • Radiation Health Safety and Infection Control Certifications
  • Willingness to learn & grow
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
