Overview
We are seeking a high-performing finance professional to join a growing global business in a highly visible role reporting directly to the CFO. This position blends FP&A, commercial/business analysis, and high-impact special projects, with direct exposure to the CEO and executive leadership team.
This is an opportunity for someone who combines strong analytical capability with sound business judgment—and who is motivated not just to analyze the business, but to drive outcomes.

- Comfortable working independently and directly with senior leaders
- Equally willing to build models, create decks, and roll up sleeves to drive initiatives to completion
- Intellectually curious, highly driven, and motivated by real responsibility and impact
- Reports directly to the CFO; frequent interaction with the CEO and leadership team
- In-office role in Shelton, CT with 10-20% remote flexibility
- Light travel
The role has three core components:
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Own and enhance financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting processes
- Analyze actuals vs. plan and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reviews
- Business & Commercial Analysis
- Conduct customer, project, and profitability analysis to support decision-making
- Identify, quantify, and help execute cost-saving and margin-improvement initiatives
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to evaluate tradeoffs and investment opportunities
- Strategic & Special Projects
- Lead and support ad hoc, high-priority initiatives of significant strategic value
- Develop data-driven recommendations for senior leadership
- Take projects from analysis through execution, working across the organization
- Background in management consulting, investment banking, FP&A, or public accounting (valuation, transaction services, or complex modeling groups preferred)
- Two to eight years experience in the above fields or with comparable responsibilities
- Pre-MBA or post-MBA candidates welcome
- Exceptional Excel and financial modeling skills; strong data analysis capability
- Clear, concise written and verbal communication with strong presentation skills
- Strong business acumen with a hands-on, execution-oriented mindset
- CPA is a plus, but not required
