We are currently seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Permanent Director of Business Development for the Northeast region. This is a unique opportunity to join a leading company in the engineering industry and play a vital role in shaping our brand direction and growth. The successful candidate will have a strong background in strategic brand development, business development, account management, and client interaction, ideally selling engineering expert witness services to lawyers who defend insured clients in lawsuits, as well as insurance claims professionals.
This role requires a high level of creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills.
- Develop and implement brand strategies and standards to drive business growth in the Northeast region.
- Conduct market research and analysis to understand industry trends and competitive landscape.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency and increase brand awareness and reputation.
- Develop and manage B2B relationships, ensuring customer success and satisfaction.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to stakeholders, clients, and at trade shows.
- Oversee the use of CRM tools for effective account management and customer interaction.
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and insurance requirements in all brand development activities.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities, demonstrating excellent time management skills.
- Collaborate with the engineering services team to align brand strategies with technical capabilities.
- BS degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. An MS degree or Master's in a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in brand development, business development, and account management, ideally selling engineering expert services to legal firms and insurance claims professionals.
- Exceptional client engagement and relationship management skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret business intelligence, market research, and customer analysis.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a proven track record of designing compelling presentations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage B2B relationships and interact effectively with clients.
- Experience with CRM tools and account management practices.
- Strong project management and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and trade show representation.
