Simplot Grower Solutions is looking to fill a seasonal Laborer/Operations Support position. This is a full-time, temporary role with full benefits and the opportunity for substantial overtime hours. The primary responsibility is to assist with daily plant operations.

• Equipment and plant maintenance, including welding, pump and engine overhauls, painting, and general housekeeping.
• Loading and delivering fertilizer and chemicals to customers, operating equipment to blend fertilizer and chemicals, cleaning and storing equipment after the application process.
• Receiving and unloading product and performing warehouse inventory and storage functions.
• Maintain a conscientiousness for safety at all times while performing all duties.
• Represent themselves and the Company professionally at all times.
• Miscellaneous duties such as assisting with special projects and attending training sessions.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Combination of education, training and/or experience will be considered for this position.

• 1+ years related experience.
• Truck driving experience preferred.
• Proficiency with smart devices and ELDs (Electronic Log Devices) is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of local rural geography is a plus.
• Knowledge of basic farm equipment and operation is preferred.
• Ability to do a variety of tasks in succession, e.g., blending products together, loading a truck, and driving the truck to a farm.

• Valid driver's license.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Must be willing and able to work Ag-Industry hours, which may include:
  • Early mornings
  • Late evenings
  • Overtime as seasonal needs demand
  • Weekends and holidays as seasonal needs demand
• Must be able to perform all essential functions of the job.
