Shifts:

Various shifts including days, nights, and weekends. Specific dates are available. No on-call responsibilities Average Daily Census: 130 patients Trauma Level: Level 3 trauma center with primarily moderate acuity cases (3-5) Responsibilities:
Provide emergency care for a variety of patient cases, including:
Chest pain Abdominal pain Motor vehicle collisions (MVC) Extremity injuries Illnesses and cough Abscesses and lacerations Vaginal bleeding during pregnancy Perform emergency procedures such as:
Incision and drainage (I&D) Laceration repair Work collaboratively with RNs, LPNs, and Techs to ensure high-quality patient care Handle patient follow-up cases and coordinate with pharmacists for microbiology results and other necessary follow-ups Requirements: 4-5 years of experience in Emergency Medicine required Must be comfortable working with both adult and pediatric patients APPs with emergency privileges are eligible Familiarity with Medi Tech EMR preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Position Specifics:

No on-call duty is required for this position Patient Population:
Predominantly adult, with some pediatric cases Support Staff:
Full team of Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Technicians available

Qualifications:
