Paint Line Operator 1st Shift

Overview

Position Title – Paint Line Operator

Shift Assignment – 1st Shift (7:00am – 3:30pm)

Location – Shelbyville, Kentucky, USA

As a Paint Line Operator, you’ll be part of our Shelbyville Manufacturing team working as an on-site employee. You’ll get to:

• Load and unload blades at a productive rate, maintaining quality levels according to control plans, and using safe work practices (PPE, MSDS and machine hazards).
• Perform visual quality inspection of each saw blade.
• Accurately update move tags and piece counts.
• Identify and communicate possible problems which may be perceived.
• Report abnormal situations, including crashes, incorrect set-up, incorrect move tags or incorrect control plans.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Basic knowledge of tolerance and quality inspection procedures
• Excellent hand-eye coordination in a fast-paced environment
• Reading control plans in English
• Processing and recording data
• Ability to read and write English; understand and comprehend instructions for safety and quality
• Flexibility to work overtime
