Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Material Handler

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Material Handler to join our dynamic team. As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our warehouse and production facilities. You will be responsible for the accurate and timely movement, storage, and inventory management of materials, ensuring that our operations run seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse or production area using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other delivery equipment.
  • Ensure accurate tracking of inventory and report any discrepancies in material counts.
  • Assist in the packing and unpacking of materials for shipping and receiving.
  • Maintain an organized and clean work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and protocols.
  • Collaborate with the warehouse and production teams to ensure timely delivery of materials needed for production.
  • Conduct routine checks and maintenance on all material handling equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is preferred.
  • Proficient in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy items as required.
