Join our dynamic logistics team as a Dock Worker / Forklift Operator and become a vital part of our fast-paced warehouse environment! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for efficiently loading, unloading, and managing materials ensuring smooth operations across shipping, receiving, and inventory management. Your expertise will help maintain safety standards while supporting the seamless flow of goods through our distribution center.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your warehouse experience and mechanical skills in a lively, team-oriented setting. We are open Monday thru Friday. We are closed on weekends.
Duties
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks to load and unload shipments.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately and warehouse management systems.
- Handle materials with precision during shipping and receiving processes, ensuring proper storage and documentation.
- Conduct heavy lifting tasks regularly while adhering to OSHA safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
- Assist with order picking using pickers and ensure timely dispatch of goods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to coordinate load & unload activities and optimize workflow.
- Prior warehouse distribution or logistics experience is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory control.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to materials handling
- Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting regularly while maintaining safety protocols.
- Previous roles involving shipping & receiving, order picking, or warehouse supervision are advantageous. This role is paid and offers a vibrant environment where your skills contribute directly to the success of our operations!
