Accounts Payable Accountant

• Invoice processing receive, verify, code, enter vendor invoices and ensure three-way matching of POs to invoices.
• Prepare weekly check run and ensure checks are generated and delivered to suppliers.
• Coordinate year end 1099 preparation
• Work with CFO to develop and maintain cash payment forecasts and assist with working capital planning.
• Prepare and review journal entries, assist with account reconciliations, and participate in the month-end closing processes.
• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed.
• Assist in maintaining fixed asset schedules and depreciation entries.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to streamline accounting functions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as Operations, Purchasing, and Compliance
• Crosstrain in customer invoicing, daily metric creation, and financial reporting

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3–5+ years of accounting experience
• Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting
• Proficiency with ERP and accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Net Suite, or similar) and Excel skills
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• High attention to detail and integrity in handling sensitive financial information
