The SDR/BDR Lead is a player–coach responsible for generating qualified pipeline through high-volume outbound calling while also leading, coaching, and developing our SDR team. This role requires someone who is equally strong at making calls, booking meetings, and running sequences as they are at training others to do the same.
The ideal candidate is confident using a power dialer such as Nooks, comfortable spending multiple hours per day on outbound calls, and skilled at coaching SDRs through call blocks, messaging, objection handling, and consistent follow-up.
They will work closely with Sales and Marketing to support outreach strategy, lead flow, campaign alignment, and performance optimization.

- Make daily outbound calls using Nook's power dialer.
- Work call blocks alongside the SDR team to model best practices.
- Execute outreach across phone, email, and Linked In with a focus on personalization and relevance.
- Qualify leads, set meetings, and generate opportunities for Sales.
- Maintain accurate notes and follow-up tasks in CRM (Dynamics).
- Consistently hit or exceed personal activity and meeting-booked targets.
- Lead, mentor, and coach SDRs in daily activity, messaging, and objection handling.
- Conduct regular call reviews, coaching sessions, and role plays.
- Provide real‑time coaching during Nook's power dialing sessions.
- Onboard new SDRs with training on tools, processes, scripts, and best practices.
- Communicate expectations clearly and hold the team accountable to goals.
- Develop and refine call scripts, talk tracks, objection handling frameworks, and email templates.
- Align messaging with Marketing campaigns, product updates, and ICP targeting.
- Test and optimize sequences to improve connection rates and meeting quality.
- Maintain consistency of messaging across the SDR team.
- Ensure SDRs are working top-priority leads including inbound, outbound lists, intent signals, and target accounts.
- Monitor conversion rates and identify coaching or process gaps.
- Partner closely with Sales to ensure meetings are well qualified and handoffs are smooth.
- Oversee effective use of Nooks power dialer across the team.
- Train SDRs on CRM usage (Dynamics), sequencing tools, Walnut, and Linked In.
- Optimize workflows, routing, follow‑up, and tracking.
- Ensure clean data and strong pipeline hygiene.
- Track daily, weekly, and monthly SDR metrics, including:
- Dials
- Conversations
- Meetings booked
- SQLs created
- Conversion rates
- Provide performance reports with insights and coaching actions.
- Recommend changes to improve team efficiency and results.
- 2 to 4 years in SDR/BDR roles with at least 1 year in a senior or team lead capacity.
- Proven experience using a power dialer like Nooks.
- Strong call skills with the ability to personally hit activity and meeting targets.
- Experience coaching reps to improve their performance.
- Strong written communication for crafting outbound messaging.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (Dynamics preferred).
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
- Experience in B2B SaaS, HR tech, or employee engagement industries.
- Familiarity with Apollo, Power/Parallel Dialer, and Linked In Sales Navigator
- Experience collaborating with Marketing on campaigns and messaging alignment.
