Hallmark Field Merchandiser (part-time) - Shelby, NC 28150

As a Field Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase your organization and time‑management skills, establish retailer relationships, and be the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations as needed. You may also work with other products from partner companies in the stores you service.

• Your starting hourly pay rate will be $11.00–$13.00 depending on your skills and experience.
• Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
• This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule.
• Average weekly hours are 7–9 hours.
• Availability the week before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.

• Use Hallmark‑provided mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor inventory within and outside the Hallmark department. Communicate with your supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and complete required surveys.
• Provide professional and courteous interaction with store employees, management, and customers.
• Execute holiday support by working additional days and extended hours around holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas; may be required on the holiday itself.
• Participate in department resets, installations, and fixture relocations; typically notified two weeks in advance; may include evenings or weekends.
• Support fellow merchandisers as part of Hallmark’s field organization.

This is a physically demanding job that requires a high level of energy and a sense of urgency. You must be able to consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds, and up to 50 pounds occasionally; kneel, squat, walk, stand throughout the workday; may be required to climb stairs and step ladders.

• At least 18 years of age.
• Read, write, and understand English.
• Pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently, and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Operate a digital hand‑held device to open and read documents and interpret information.
• Access to a Wi‑Fi network and the internet.
• Consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
