As a Nurse at our Hospice Houses, you will remain up‑to‑date on the plan of care for all IPU patients by working with an interdisciplinary team to anticipate and meet patient needs; serve as the RN member for the designated shift, of interdisciplinary teams to meet specific plan of care goals; coordinate closely with related disciplines to ensure professional service delivery.

This position will work 72 hours per pay period (three 12‑hour shifts per week).

• A diploma or associate’s degree in nursing required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Current, active, and unrestricted NC license as Registered Nurse (RN). Current CPR required; CHPN preferred.
• Minimum 1 year related experience. Experience in direct care of patients with life‑limiting illnesses required. Related experience may include hospice and palliative care, family medicine, internal medicine, geriatrics, oncology, home health care, medical‑surgical.
• Computer proficiency required.
