** A Brief Overview
** Responsible for the nursing care of patients requiring specialized judgment and skill. * Analyze incoming patient information and determine the appropriate plan of care in accordance with protocols.
* Coordinate patient needs and possible escalation of treatment with physicians and patients when changes in patient conditions are present.
* Communicate with patients regarding their health status and provide education, coaching, and guidance as recommended by the ordering physician.
* Responsible for the implementation of orders provided by the physician.
* Compile summaries of patient status and data over the course of monitoring.
* Provide detailed correspondence and communication with physicians on patient progress.
** Education/Formal Training Requirements
*** Associate's Degree Nursing- RN
* Bachelor's Degree Nursing- RN
** Work Experience Requirements
*** Minimum of five (5) years of healthcare industry experience as a Registered Nurse.
** Licenses and Certifications Requirements
*** BASIC LIFE SUPPORT - American Heart Association
* Registered Nurse Arkansas - Arkansas State Board of Nursing
* Registered Nurse Mississippi - Mississippi Board of Nursing
