Atrium Health Cleveland Emergency Department provides 24-hour emergency medical services to Cleveland County and surrounding communities. Atrium Health Cleveland in Shelby is a 241-bed hospital serving greater Cleveland County, NC, and the surrounding region. Position: RN Clinical Nurse I (Part Time, Varied Schedule). This role is eligible for a sign-on bonus; benefits and paid time off are available as part of Atrium Health’s total rewards package. Pay range: $34.90 - $52.35 per hour.

• Collect data pertinent to the healthcare consumer's health or the situation. Analyze assessment data to determine actual or potential diagnoses, problems, and issues.
• Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the healthcare consumer or the situation.
• Develop a plan that prescribes strategies to attain expected, measurable outcomes.
• Implement the identified plan, coordinate care delivery, and employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment.
• Delegate elements of care to appropriate healthcare workers in accordance with applicable legal or policy parameters or principles.
• Evaluate progress toward attainment of goals and outcomes.
• Practice in a manner congruent with cultural diversity and inclusion principles.
• Communicate effectively in all areas of practice.
• Collaborate with healthcare consumer and other key stakeholders in the conduct of nursing practice.
• Lead within the professional practice setting and the profession.

Education, Experience and Certifications. Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. BSN preferred. Current Basic Life Support required per policy guidelines. Current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse in the state in which you work and reside, or meet licensure requirements in your home state if using National License Compact (NLC). For non-NLC states, current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Practitioner may be required in the state where the RN works.

Physical Requirements Work requires walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling. Must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies. Must speak English in understandable terms. Intact sense of sight, hearing, smell, and touch. Finger dexterity. Critical thinking and ability to concentrate. Must be able to respond quickly to changes in patient and/or unit conditions.
