Job Description

E.S. Wagner Company, LLC. is looking for an experienced Earthwork Foreman to join its team of construction professionals in various locations through the Upstate and Northern portions or South Carolina. Some travel will be required to complete the duties of this position. A new bridge and connecting roads will be built at each location through a contract with the South Carolina Department of Transportation.

Position Summary

A sample of the position's duties and responsibilities include.

* Maintain a safe work environment and ensure all crew members follow company safety policies and jobsite requirements.

* Lead and direct the daily work activities of the assigned crew to meet production and quality expectations.

* Ensure construction activities are performed in accordance with project plans, design drawings, and specification requirements.

* Plan and coordinate crew assignments, equipment usage, and material needs to support safe and efficient project progress.

* Maintain accurate records including job quantities, timesheets, and daily field reports.

* Communicate daily progress, field conditions, and any issues with the Superintendent and Project Management team to support overall project coordination.

Qualifications:

* 5 years earthwork Foreman experience.

* Experience in roadway embankment formation, ditch excavation, and rip rap placement.

* Experience in subgrade for asphalt and simple storm drain installation a plus.

* Demonstrated ability to work safely and promote a safe work environment.

* Excellent team and communication skills.

* Ability to solve problems and adjust to changing circumstances.
