Overview
The Security Officer is responsible for the effective physical control of entry, operation and monitoring of all security and safety equipment at the site, responding to any related incidents.
Responsibilities- Operating security systems including Access Control System, CCTV, Radio Communication Systems, Perimeter Intruder Detection systems and various safety systems.
- Undertaking patrols, securing buildings, operating in a Control Room environment, responding to emergencies and acting as initial incident controller.
- Working with a highly experienced qualified combined in-house and externally supplied Security team.
- You will be involved in varied security operations and gaining experience in Vetting and Registry duties/roles, expanding your knowledge of Security processes and procedures.
- You will be joining an established and motivated team responsible for all aspects of physical and procedural Security and the opportunity to work towards the development of skills in Security Vetting, Document Registry, Cryptographic Material Control and Electronic Counter Measure roles.

- Salary:
Circa £27,800 depending on experience - Shift Patterns: 12 hour shifts on a days and nights rota
- Security Clearance:
