Are you experienced in managing goods-in processes and ready to step into a key logistics role? Join our team in Sheffield as a warehouse operative, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining accurate stock intake, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and supporting the efficiency of our warehouse operations.

Main Purpose of the Role

To take day-to-day responsibility for the receipt and put-away of all inbound materials, ensuring accuracy, safety, and adherence to both company policies and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and book in all inbound goods and vehicles
  • Administer booking-in control documents efficiently
  • Physically check all inbound deliveries against aimer documents
  • Input accurate data into business systems for all received stock
  • Supervise and support inventory put-away using various forklift types
  • Train and mentor team members as required
  • Allocate daily tasks and monitor team activities
  • Follow company policies, good practice and Health & Safety protocols at all times
  • Deputise for the Goods Receipt Team Leader when needed
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the working area
  • Assist with customer quality complaint documentation

What We’re Looking For
  • Experience in goods receipt, warehouse, or logistics roles
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in data input and basic IT systems
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A proactive attitude towards health, safety, and compliance
  • Qualified to drive a range of MHE including counterbalance, reach
Salary & Benefits

Annual salary of £24,000
