IKEA Sheffield are expanding our home delivery operation and have exciting opportunities for Driver Mate's to join our growing team! As a Driver's Mate, you will shape a new area in our business, supporting the Drivers to ensure the on-time delivery of IKEA goods to customers in the local area whilst delivering a high level of service.
WHAT WE OFFER- Start Date: 8th February 2026
- Salary: £29,696 per annum (based on competence & prior experience)
- Hours: 39 hours per week, rolling shift pattern of 4 days working and 2 days off, including weekends. Working shifts between 06:00am - 19:00pm.

NEED TO HAVE
- Deliver a quality experience, step up and problem solve when things aren’t right.
- Take Health & Safety seriously and comfortable risk assessing environment.
- Attentive to details especially when performing checks on your vehicle.
- Experience working with GPS, maps and hand held scanning devices.
- Support the Driver to complete vehicle safety checks and take appropriate action.
- Assist in loading goods into the vehicle safely and organised, ensuring delivery route matches the goods for maximum efficiency.
- Deliver goods to customer homes, take them into a nominated room, carry out risk assessments on location to prevent injury and damage to property.
- Communicate with the customer both in person and over the phone to provide a positive customer service experience.
- Handle a range of furniture items from LACK Coffee Tables to PAX Wardrobes.
