Utility Technician

Duties & Responsibilities

• Properly loading and securing equipment and materials per Green Impressions standards.
• Deliver materials and equipment to job sites, following all safety and legal requirements as it pertains to properly securing loads.
• Run equipment on job sites as necessary.
• Work on jobsite projects as needed.
• Perform Snow Plowing & Ice Control services.
• Assist with shop/yard maintenance as needed.
• Miscellaneous errands.
• May perform other related duties as assigned.

• Required Licenses, Certifications and Registrations:
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL
    
    A) required.

  Skills and Abilities
  
  (KSA):
  • Ability to pass background and drug screening.
• Physical, Mental and Visual Demands:
  • Pushing or pulling of various landscaping equipment and materials.
  • Safely operate hand and power equipment.
  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds using proper body mechanics.
  • Push, pull, grip and squeeze various tools, products and/or items.
  • Walk up to 5 miles a day, sometimes uphill and on uneven terrain, often while carrying, pushing or pulling equipment, materials or debris.
  • Bend and kneel up to 9 hours or more a day.
• Working Conditions:
  • Work hours vary and may exceed 10 hours per day.
  • Work in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, precipitation).
  • Noise level may be loud at times and use of ear protection may be required.
