Job Title: Multi‑Trade Operative
Location: Shiregreen, Sheffield (covering South Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire)
Salary: £34,376–£36,185 per year (rising after 12 months)

Responsibilities
  • Attend occupied and void properties to carry out construction, fault‑fixing and maintenance duties.
  • Resolve problems and set in motion the means of resolution, keeping customers informed.
  • Maintain tools and equipment, manage van stock and restock as needed according to requisition procedures and budgets.
  • Provide accurate and timely information on progress of works in a way customers can understand.
  • Respond positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery to meet customer expectations.
  • Drive a company vehicle; drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence.
Qualifications and Experience
  • NVQ Level 2 (or undertaking) in a core subject such as carpentry or electrical;
    Level 3 plumbing (Unvented – G3 Certificate and WRAS) if required.
  • Original certification evidence must be presented in the interview; copies or CSCS cards are not accepted.
  • Skills in plumbing, plastering, carpentry/joinery, kitchen and bathroom installations, and UPVC door/window fitting.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and the application of relevant regulations.
  • Experience diagnosing and analysing problems and implementing effective solutions.
