Description

Have you always had that knack for practical, hands‑on tasks? Did childhood hobbies see you taking things apart and putting them together? Are you often curious about how things are made and why things work?

If so, perhaps electrical engineering is your career call. Earn as you learn, combining college study for a Level 3 Apprenticeship in England with industry experience at the largest independent construction materials group in the UK.

Breedon is a home for inquisitive learners, and we are looking for talent to join our highly skilled and friendly team based at the largest independent cement works in Great Britain – Breedon Cement Hope Works. We’re providing the foundation for our lives, building the places where we live and work, play and in-between.

Established 95 years ago at the heart of the Peak National Park, Hope Works offers a quality approved apprenticeship managed by great people with traditional values who enjoy developing people to be part of our successful business.

Hope Works offers various high‑quality apprenticeships. Our apprentices spend time learning about maintaining and repairing equipment on the electrical network, as well as working on heavy plant including fixed and rotating equipment in our quarries and cement plant over a four‑year period. On completion you will qualify as an Electrical Maintenance Technician.

Here at Breedon Group, we are always on the look out to recruit talented individuals aspiring to have a long and successful career.
