Are you an experienced HGV Technician looking for a new challenge? We have an excellent opportunity in Sheffield for an ambitious and talented HGV Mechanic to join a respected workshop. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a HGV Technician to apply their skills in a supportive environment, working on a wide range of vehicles and trailers.

Your Impact as an HGV Technician:

As a key HGV Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a diverse fleet, ensuring safety and efficiency. Your responsibilities will include:

Carrying out routine inspections, maintenance, service, and repairs on franchised and non-franchised HGVs, including trailers, to the highest industry standards.

Performing a wide range of defect repairs with precision.

Conducting fault diagnosis and rectification using manufacturer's computer systems and specialist tooling.

Accurately completing job cards and service sheets using online systems, ensuring compliance with warranty protocols.

Your work will directly contribute to keeping essential vehicles on the road in and around Sheffield.

What we're looking for:

To excel as an HGV Technician in this role, you will need:

At least 3 years of experience within a similar Mechanic role.

A prerequisite NVQ Level 3 or similar qualification is essential.

An HGV licence is desired, but not essential.

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Experience or willingness to do breakdowns (call out paid OT rate 3 hours minimum)
