We are looking for a dynamic, fiercely hungry Business Development Manager to spearhead our growth across the North West of the UK. You won't be sitting back and waiting for the phone to ring; you will be blazing a trail across Manchester, Liverpool, and beyond, hunting down new opportunities, pitching to top-tier brands, and turning cold leads into long-term agency partners.

What You’ll Be Doing- Hunting for New Business: Proactively identify, target, and secure new B2B clients across the North West region.
- Building the Pipeline: Generate leads through cold outreach, strategic networking, social selling (Linked In), and attending key regional industry events.
- Pitching with Passion: Lead dynamic, persuasive pitches. You’ll work closely with our creative and production teams to present unforgettable experiential campaign ideas to prospects.
- Networking: Be the face of Wildfire in the North West. Build a strong presence in key business hubs (from Media
CityUK to the Baltic Triangle). - Smashing Targets: Meet and exceed aggressive but highly rewarding revenue and pipeline targets.
- Market Intelligence: Keep a pulse on regional market trends, competitor activity, and emerging brands in the area to keep Wildfire one step ahead.
- The "Hunger": You are fiercely ambitious, resilient, and target-driven. You don't take "no" for an answer; you see it as a challenge.
- Proven Track Record: 3+ years of successful B2B sales or business development experience, ideally within the agency, events, marketing, or media landscape.
- Local Knowledge: A deep understanding of the North West business ecosystem and a solid network of regional brand contacts.
- Charisma & Confidence: You are a natural communicator and a persuasive storyteller who can command a room and build instant rapport with C-level executives and Marketing Directors.
- Autonomous & Dynamic: You are a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, autonomous environment. You manage your own diary and treat your territory like your own business.
- Valid UK Driving Licence: Essential for traveling across your territory to meet clients.
