The Sales Administrator role is based at the AWB & Son Ltd Headquarters in Dinnington. This is a development-focused position designed to provide structured, on the job training within a commercial sales environment, under the mentorship of experienced Account Managers.

The successful candidate will support day-to-day sales operations, assist in client engagement, and contribute to delivering a high quality service while gaining exposure to the passive fire protection sector, including fire dampers, fire doors, and compartmentation services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support Account Managers in developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Prepare and issue quotations, ensuring accuracy and timely follow up.
  • Maintain and Update the company CRM System
  • Support the implementation of sales strategies to help meet revenue targets and business objectives.
  • Assist in managing sales pipeline, assisting with follow-up on leads and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including operations and marketing, to support sales initiatives related to fire dampers, fire doors, and fire compartmentation services.
  • Engage in ongoing training to develop technical knowledge and workshops to enhance sales techniques and product knowledge.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop an understanding of market trends and contribute insights to the sales team
Key

Qualifications:
  • Strong interest in sales and account management.
  • Excellent Administration and organisational skills
  • High attention to detail (this is especially important within a compliance-driven industry)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and take initiative.

Basic understanding of fire safety standards or construction industry experience is advantageous but not essential.
