Guardian Electrical Compliance are looking for a driven and personable Tele-Sales professional to join our lively Sheffield office, following up warm leads only from customers who already need the work quoting. No cold lists. No awkward introductions. Just genuine conversations and the opportunity to turn quotes into confirmed jobs.

The role

Our engineers carry out fixed wire testing across commercial and industrial properties. When systems fail (which they often do), we’re obligated to provide a quote to bring them back to legal compliance.

Your job? Pick up the phone, speak to existing customers, and convert those quotes into confirmed works.

You’ll be speaking with businesses who already know us, already trust us and already need the work — making this a far more rewarding and winnable sales role than traditional cold calling.

You’ll work from a structured pricing matrix and schedule of rates, giving you clear parameters and confidence when discussing or negotiating costs.

What you’ll be doing
  • Calling customers to follow up completed quotes (warm leads only)

  • Building rapport and maintaining great customer relationships

  • Negotiating within agreed pricing structures where needed

  • Working to daily call and lead generation targets

  • Updating systems accurately and keeping pipelines moving

  • Playing your part in a lively, target-driven sales environment

What we’re looking for
  • Confident and friendly telephone manner

  • Motivated by targets, commission and results

  • Resilient, persistent and self-driven

  • Personable and able to build quick rapport with customers

  • Previous telesales / outbound sales background preferred

  • Happy working full-time in an office-based, phone-focused role

This role would suit an experienced cold-caller looking for a step up into a warmer, more consultative sales environment where the hard part — finding the lead — is already done.

  • Salary up to £30,000 + commission structure
