Account Manager - Service Sales

Working Hours:
Monday – Friday 08:30 – 17:00

The Account Manager role is based out of our Hull branch with regular customer visits in the surrounding service sales territory.

Scania have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Account Manager to join our Services Sales team in Hull. You will play a pivotal role within the business, becoming an expert across a wide range of parts, products, contracts, and services, working proactively to meet your individual sales targets.

You will be a confident communicator, able to understand existing customers and prospective new customers’ needs and driven to deliver an exceptional service. A full and clean UK driving licence is essential, as you will travel to meet customers in person. Experience working within a sales environment would be an advantage.

• Rapport Building – build rapport with existing customers and establish relationships with prospective new customers.
• Understand Customer Needs – sell through trust, taking time to understand our customers’ challenges, and providing the best solutions.
• Administration – follow up each meeting by accurately completing the relevant paperwork and email confirmations.
• Attention to Detail – update internal records, accurately provide customers with costs, quotes, and contract options.
• Meet Targets – strive to exceed new business targets and grow existing business through excellent account management.
• Presenting – use PowerPoint to clearly update stakeholders throughout the region, on a monthly and quarterly basis.
