About The Role

As a Business Development Consultant, you will drive growth through customer acquisition and nurture existing relationships. You will expand our portfolio of automotive retailers, leveraging strong relationships with OEMs and prestigious dealerships across the North of England. Reporting directly to the Business Development Team Lead, the role is remote with an average of 2 days per week on-site visits.

Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing automotive customers
  • Identify and acquire new customers, boosting Bumper advocacy and referrals
  • Conduct account reviews to drive engagement and performance
  • Deliver on‑site training and support for successful onboarding
  • Communicate Bumper’s value proposition clearly and effectively
  • Generate leads and support account activation
  • Drive sales of Bumper Pro, our newest SaaS product, by pitching advanced insights and performance‑enhancing features
  • Educate retailers on how Bumper Pro can elevate customer experience and dealership profitability
  • Collaborate with existing dealerships to embed Bumper Pro into their operations and maximise impact

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in consultative selling and managing full sales life cycles
  • Confidence in presenting and educating customers on new products
  • Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and data‑driven decision‑making
  • Experience working in Payments, Automotive or SaaS environment
