Retail Assistant​/Barista

Job Overview

Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Retail Assistant/Barista to join our team working at Northwood HQ.

You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating tills, checking stock, restocking goods, arranging merchandise displays, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a clean and tidy workspace.

• Serve customers, take payments, and keep accurate records.
• Receive and put out deliveries, restock goods, and ensure attractive displays of merchandise.
• Stock take, order, and notify line manager of any deficient goods.
• Clean front and back of house areas, keeping shop and stock rooms tidy.
• Report feedback, complaints, suggestions, stock needs, breakages, faults, or hazards identified in the workplace.
• Follow food hygiene and safety procedures in line with health and safety requirements.
• Open and close the retail unit.
• Make barista coffee to our brand of 53.3 drinks.
• Serve hot paninis and cold foods.

• Been resident in the UK for the past 3 years and have a legal right to work in the UK.
• Ability to pass full security vetting CTC required (must be over 21).
• Previous experience is desirable but not essential as full on-the-job training will be provided.
• Customer service experience desirable.
• Comfortable working alongside a team and occasional lone working.

• Hourly pay rate of £12.60.
• Permanent full-time position, 40 hours per week. Shifts range between 06:30 and 21:00.
