Job description: Research Associate in Motor Neuron Disease. Are you a researcher with a passion for improving clinical care? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Research Associate to lead a high-impact project developing a UK-wide clinical practice framework for pain management in MND. You will join the Sheffield Institute for Translational Neuroscience (SITraN), a world-leading, purpose-built centre dedicated to neurodegenerative research.

You will work within the Better Outcomes for MND Research group, a well-connected team with an international reputation for co-creating research with patients to change clinical practice. • Conduct in-depth qualitative work with patients and staff.

  • Strong skills in mixed-methods and systematic reviews to synthesise complex data into clinical recommendations.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work sensitively within a clinical context, particularly with people living with MND and families.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a diverse, multidisciplinary team.
Benefits

We offer a highly competitive annual leave entitlement (41 days including bank holidays/closure days), a generous pension scheme, and a commitment to your development and wellbeing.
