Job Summary
The Marketing Manager develops brand strategies and manages marketing programs to drive business growth by enriching the lives of pets and their pet parents.
2.0Essential Duties and Responsibilities
A. Brand Management
- 2.1 Develop and execute campaigns to support specific marketing objectives in support of our overall strategic marketing plan
- 2.2 Create annual Marketing Plans and oversee annual Marketing Budget
- 2.3 Conceptualize and execute multi-channel campaigns across the prospect and customer lifecycle, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging across all channels
- 2.4 Work with other internal stakeholders, and external agencies and vendors to execute marketing campaigns across all relevant marketing channels
- 2.5 Identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives and optimize accordingly
- 2.6 Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams, and communicate with senior leaders about marketing programs, strategies, and budgets
- 2.7 Organize relevant events to support brand and category growth
- 2.8 Create and manage content for customer and internal touch points, establishing budget guidelines, participating in events, documenting business processes, and providing additional sales support
- 2.9 Engage customers with educational and solutions-driven approach to content marketing
- 2.10 Assist the Head of Digital Strategy in defining the digital and social media strategy, as well as managing all digital assets of the brand
- 2.11 Develop and implement all Retail Merchandising initiatives, including consumer promotions, packaging requirements, and other in-store requirements
- 2.12 Collaborate with buyers and store executives to expand product categories and identify opportunity gaps
- 2.13 Work closely with the Retail Director to implement tactical, category-driven campaigns that maximize category growth and visibility
- 2.14 Handle business development initiatives including store expansions and renovations, supplier sourcing, and new business channels both online and online
- 2.15 Mentor and coach Pet Care Advisors on knowledge regarding products and pet parenting
- 2.16 Develop and implement a customer-obsessed membership program and loyalty marketing initiatives that contribute toward improving customer lifetime value and building customer loyalty and retention
- 2.17 Gather customer and market insights to inform outreach strategies, increase customer conversions, and generate more qualified leads
- 3.1 Sales Performance and Category Sales Performance
- 3.2 Return on Investment (ROI) for campaign executions
- 3.3 Timely and Complete Rollout of Projects
- 3.4 Foot Traffic and Online Traffic
- 3.5 Digital Fan Base, Social Interactions and Engagement
- 3.6 Membership Size and Membership Value
- 3.7 Marketing Budget, total spend and as a % of total sales
- 3.8 Team Performance Assessment
- 4.1 Bachelor’s Degree from a reputable university
- 4.2 At least 3 to 5 years’ professional experience in related field
- 4.3 Proficient in basic business software applications
- 4.4 Passion – Strong interest and desire to build the brand and the business. Embodies the brand, advocating healthy and sustainable living.
- 4.5 Curiosity and Creativity – Always interested in the world around him/her. Constantly finds ways to innovate and think outside the box.
- 4.6 Entrepreneurial Drive – Ability to look at the “Big Picture”. Analyze relevant data and manage the business from a financial and analytical standpoint.
- 4.7 Project Management – Ability to manage multiple projects within tight and overlapping deadlines. Adept in planning, organizing, and execution. Takes initiative and accountability. Works independently with minimal supervision.
- 4.8 Excellent communication and presentation skills – Presents in an impressive, confident, and convincing manner using high-impact visuals and data. Communicates in a very professional and succinct manner.
- 4.9 Good leadership skills – Skilled in building rapport with internal and external parties. Able to inspire and influence others.
