STW (Non‑Destructive) Ltd, based in Sheffield, provides high‑quality in‑house and on‑site non‑destructive testing services to a wide range of industries including Chemical, Oil & Gas, Aerospace, Medical, Nuclear and General Engineering.

About the Role
As a Trainee NDT Technician, you’ll receive hands‑on, one‑to‑one training from experienced professionals. We’ll give you the practical skills, technical knowledge and confidence to progress quickly into a fully qualified position.
No experience? No problem. Whilst some NDT or engineering experience would be an advantage, if you’re motivated, curious and ready to learn, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities (Once Qualified)
• Maintaining equipment and calibration systems
• Inspecting components and producing accurate reports
• Identifying, assessing, and sizing defects
• Carrying out inspections both on-site and in-house
• Reading and interpreting specifications, procedures and techniques

• Standard Monday–Friday working pattern (8 hours per day)

About You
We’re looking for someone who:
• Has a positive, can-do attitude
• Motivated, reliable and eager to develop a new skill set
• Enjoy practical, hands‑on work in an engineering environment
• Want to grow and progress within a specialist field
• GCSEs in Maths and Science (grade 4/C+) are helpful but not essential.
