Tek Alloy are proud to be working a leading engineering and manufacturing businesses in our area.
They are looking for CNC Machinists to join their team on a full time and permanent basis on the Night Shift
Monday to Thursday-Days only
6.00am-4.00pm
Joining a team of long servers and some highly skilled Engineers, the successful person will work on large one off jobs and components. Manufacturing a range of components for use in mining, Materials handling and Lifting equipment.
Overtime available paid at enhanced rates
Duties
* Set up and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations
* Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
* Select and use appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and tooling for each job
* Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
* Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to maintain proper dimensions and tolerances
* Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality
* Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
* Experience working in a jobbing shop environment
* Familiarity with Fanuc controls
* Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining principles
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
