£14.00 – £16.00 per hour | Full Time - Temp to Perm | Sheffield Area

Rotating Days & Nights / Shift Pattern

• Days:
  Monday – Thursday 7:00am – 4:30pm, Friday 8:00am – 2:30pm
• Nights:
  Monday – Friday 8:00pm – 6:00am

An established manufacturing business in Sheffield is seeking an experienced Laser Operator to join their production team. This long‑term opportunity offers stable hours, regular overtime, and strong employee benefits.

• Set up and operate Bystronic and Amada fibre laser machines.
• Ensure consistently high cut quality and accuracy.
• Work efficiently to meet production targets.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping and adhere to health & safety standards.
• Support continuous improvement within the department.
• Work independently and as part of a wider production team.

• Proven experience operating Bystronic / Amada fibre lasers (essential).
• Ability to set machines independently.
• Flexible to work rotating day and night shifts.
• Strong attention to detail and quality‑focused mindset.
• Knowledge of working with different steels (advantageous).
• Forklift licence (desirable).
• Reliable, proactive and team‑orientated.

• £14.00 – £16.00 per hour, negotiable depending on experience.
