Our client, a world-leading FMCG manufacturer is looking to appoint a manual machinist and be a part of a dynamic team dedicated to precision and quality!
About the Role:
As a Manual CNC Machinist, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process. You'll be responsible for producing high-quality components that meet precise engineering specifications. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a solid understanding of engineering drawings, and the ability to work to high tolerances.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret and work from engineering drawings.
Operate manual CNC machines with precision.
Ensure components meet rigorous quality standards.
Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in engineering component machining principles.
Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances.
Good mathematical skills are essential.
Experience with surface grinding and turning is beneficial.
CNC experience is ideal; specific CNC language training will be provided.
A flexible approach to work is essential.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday - 35 per week
