Overview
We are recruiting an Apprentice Sheet Metal Worker to work for our client located in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. This role focuses on creating components such as tanks, hoppers and architectural projects using a variety of metals.
Responsibilities- Weld mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium using MIG and TIG techniques.
- Fold, roll, guillotine and press sheet metal into complex shapes.
- Read and work from technical drawings.
- Gain real experience working on a variety of exciting projects.
No prior experience required – just the right attitude. Ideal candidates are hardworking, reliable and ready to learn, interested in how things are made and keen to start a hands‑on, practical career.
Hours- Monday-Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM (40‑hour week with flexible overtime options)
Hourly rate of National Minimum Wage, age‑dependent.
