We’re supporting a long-standing aerospace manufacturer in Sheffield who are growing their team off the back of strong demand. The workshop’s clean, well-equipped, and run by people who know what they’re doing. You’ll be working on parts that have to be right first time, with a team that genuinely takes pride in getting the job done properly.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll be fabricating, assembling, finishing and inspecting sheet metal components used in aerospace applications. There’s plenty of variety, and you’ll be using a mix of tools and kit day to day.

What you’ll be doing :
Fabricating and assembling components using sheet metal techniques.
Interpreting technical drawings and following spec sheets.
Abrading, deburring, drilling, dressing, inserting and riveting.
Using tools like stretch formers, brake presses, guillotines and bandsaws.
Following SOPs, route cards and working to NADCAP standards.
Keeping your workspace audit-ready and logging work accurately.
Flagging non-conformities and looking for ways to improve processes.

What we’re looking for:

Sheet metal experience, ideally in aerospace or similar precision environments.
Skilled in finishing, assembly and using hand tools.
Able to read and follow engineering drawings.
Quality focused, organised and consistent.
Familiar with lean principles like 5S.
Comfortable working to production targets and rotating shifts.
A strong team player with a steady, reliable approach.
