Chairperson

As Chair of the Board of Directors, you will provide strategic leadership to the Board and Executive team, ensuring the league operates with strong governance, financial sustainability, and a clear long-term vision.

• Lead the Board in setting and delivering the league’s strategic direction
• Uphold the highest standards of governance, transparency, and integrity
• Act as the principal ambassador and public representative of the league
• Build strong relationships with clubs, sponsors, governing bodies, and stakeholders
• Support the CEO and executive team while maintaining appropriate oversight
• Drive long-term sustainability

• Has proven board-level leadership experience
• Demonstrates outstanding strategic thinking and decision-making
• Understands governance frameworks and regulatory compliance
• Is passionate about sport and community impact
• Can unite diverse stakeholders behind a shared vision
• Has a background in leading and running sporting teams, clubs or enterprises and a strong passion and knowledge of the structure and pyramid system of football.

Time Commitment: Part-time, with attendance at board meetings, key fixtures, and major league events.

Remuneration: Small stipend available.
